The invention relates to a color television technique, in particular to color picture tubes with slit shadow masks. The purpose of the invention is to increase the electronic transmittance of the shadow mask of a color kinescope by reducing the thickness of the bridges between the gaps of the mask. Figure 1 shows the general scheme of a color kinescope 5 in Figures 2 and 3 — variants of a constructive implementation of a shadow mask. The color kinescope (FIG. 1) contains a flask 1 with front glass 2 and neck 3 connected by a conical part 4о. A three-colored mosaic cathodoluminescent screen 5 is applied to the inner surface of the front glass 2. The shadow mask 6 is set at a specified distance from the screen 5. In the neck 3 an electronic spotlight 7 is placed, and a deflection system 8 is installed in the region where the neck is connected to the conical part of the bulb.
